ITB Chemical Engineering Students Wins First Place in Two Branches of the 2021 UI PGD Competition

Depok, 12-13 March 2021, Universitas Indonesia will hold a Process Engineering and Energy Days 2021 competition through an online platform. The competition which is held by the Department of Chemical Engineering UI has several branches of international competition, such as CPDC (Chemical Product Design Competition), I-CAST (The International Case Study Competition), SE-MUN (Student Energy Model United Nation), PETRONATION ( Petroleum Integrated Smart Competition), and CHEM-E-CAR (Chemical Engineering Car). In this final round, there were several ITB Chemical Engineering Students who won achievements in two of the five branches of the UI 2020 PGD competition as follows:

  1. HAKA! Team

This team consisted of two people, namely: Timothy Weslie (13018044) and Vincent Felixius (13018100). This team won 1st Winner in the I-CAST (The International Case Study Competition) competition with the theme “Maintaining the Sustainability of Sugar Production” with the topic Synergizing Tropical Sugar Beet and Sugarcane in Hybrid Sugar Mills as The Key for Indonesia’s Sustainable Sugar Production.

This team won 1st Winner in the CPDC (Chemical Product Design Competition) competition with the theme “Mitigation Global Crisis in A Sustainable Way” with the topic Canemask.
