ITB Chemical Engineering students won achievements in two of the six branches of the UI 2019 PGD competition

Depok, March 21 to March 23, 2019, held at the University of Indonesia Campus, was held in the final round of the 2019 Process Engineering and Energy Days UI competition. The competition held by the UI Chemical Engineering Department has several international level competitions, such as CPDC (Chemical Product Design Competition), I-CAST (The International Case Study Competition), INSPECT (International Student Paper Competition), Petronation (Petroleum Integrated Smart Competition), SE-MUN (Student Energy Model United Nation), and Chem-E -Car. In this final round, there were a number of ITB Chemical Engineering Students who achieved the following achievements in two of the six branches of the UI 2019 PGD competition:
1. Nusatio Edwin Wirya (13015054) dan Felicia Shelly (13015094)
This couple is under the guidance of Dr. Eng. Jenny Rizkiana, ST, MT, won the 1st Winner in the International Case Study Competition with the theme “Alternative Feedstock for Future Petrochemical Industry Sustainability” by bringing the solution to the use of microalgae as a sustainable raw material for the Indonesian petrochemical industry through fast pyrolysis and catalytic upgrading.

This team is under the guidance of Dr. Dianika Lestari, ST, MT, won the 1st Runner Up in the CPDC (Chemical Product Design Competition) competition with the theme “Solving Global Issues by Creating Enhanced Products for Daily Use” by bringing the topic of the use of crickets into food, especially high nutritional margarine. the hope can reduce the problem of stunting.
