Porostimur.com, Ambon – Lembaga Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (LPPM) Pattimura University Ambon, together with the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Lembaga Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPM) held a workshop: Community Service Program, Bandung Institute of Technology’s Bottom Up Scheme with the theme “Upaya Pelestarian dan Pemanfaatan Pisang Tongka Langit Untuk Meningkatkan Perekonomian Masyarakat Maluku”.
The activity took place from 1-2 August 2023 in the 2nd Floor Hall of the Pattimura University Rectorate Building. This workshop aims to educate the use and preservation of the Tongka Langit Banana plant so that it can become an economical food commodity for the people of Maluku Province.
Chairman of the Expertise Group, Processing System Energy Scientific Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology ITB Dr. Sanggono Adisasmito in his speech explained that economic development in Maluku Province will develop very rapidly, for this reason the Maluku people must be more innovative so that they can improve the economy by utilizing existing natural resources, so that through this activity it is hoped that it can increase economic value for the people of Maluku Province and can collaborate with Pattimura University and related agencies.
